# iolys > iolys is a provider-independent AI coding workspace for C# and .NET developers using Visual Studio 2026. It connects AI coding agent CLIs, cloud APIs, enterprise-governed endpoints, and local models through one consistent Visual Studio workflow. The user-facing product name is always written `iolys` in lowercase. iolys is an integration and navigation layer, not an AI model or AI provider. It keeps the active solution, workspace, session, provider, model, tool activity, and permission requests visible while the developer remains in control. The supported providers and connection routes are listed below and come from the same provider catalog as the website. Provider availability, authentication, quotas, subscriptions, API charges, and infrastructure costs remain subject to each provider or organization. The iolys license does not include third-party model usage. ## Product - [iolys homepage](https://getiolys.com/): Product overview, capabilities, connection options, setup flow, pricing, and frequently asked questions. - [How iolys works](https://getiolys.com/#how-it-works): Connect a provider, choose a model, and work from the active Visual Studio 2026 solution. - [Capabilities](https://getiolys.com/#capabilities): Provider switching, CLI and API connections, local models, workspace orientation, activity visibility, and permission controls. - [Pricing and plans](https://getiolys.com/#pricing): Current Community, Pro, and Enterprise licensing information.
